5. Provide the necessary requirements for the construction of curriculum, courses of study, and other related instructional aids for adequate instructions of students 6. Have the authority in matters related to the certifications of persons that will handle instructional and supervisory positions in the public schools and state universities and reviewing their accomplishments for a certain period 7. Assess all the programs offered by these institutions and analyze which programs should be revised or inject some new subjects based on the recommendation of the evaluating team, and; 8. Promulgate rules on the regulation of accrediting all public kindergarten, elementary, and secondary schools and other educational service provider, including the private schools, though its jurisdiction on the latter is only on the regulation and the assessment of the curriculum and recommending their evaluation to the private schools administrators and/or existing private schools association.
